PRODUCTION BAKER:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reports to and carries out daily production schedule and quota set by Bakery Manager
  • Communicates any inventory needed to Bakery Manager
  • Follows weekly bakery cleaning schedule.
  • Maintains bakery displays; baking and filling displays as needed on a day to day basis.
  • Executes the baking, packaging/labeling, and presentation of menu items produced within the bakery by following the standardized recipes.
  • Ensures bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.
  • Responsible for prep of various items for production.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work the afternoon-nighttime shift as well as weekends.
  • Must have prior experience using commercial bakery equipment.
  • Must be proficient in baking and have knowledge of various pastry and baking techniques as well as basic cooking techniques used to produce cookies, soups, quiche, breads, etc.
  • Must have basic knife skills.
  • Capable of working in conditions that consistently require lifting 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time.

DELI CLERK

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Maintain customer service standards by attending and selling to customer needs.
  • Market and actively sell key Frecon Farms products.
  • Daily production & display of prepared foods & sandwich program.
  • Responsible for various meat, cheese, vegetable & fruit prep.
  • Executes packaging/labeling, and presentation of menu items produced within the deli.
  • Follows weekly cleaning schedule.
  • Maintains displays; prepping and filling as needed on a day to day basis
  • Ensures equipment is maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.

FARMERS MARKET SALES ASSOCIATE

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Achieve sales targets and campaigns as set forth by Farmers Market Manager
  • Maintain customer service standards by attending and selling to customer needs
  • Market and aggressively sell key Frecon products
  • Operate cash register
  • Comfortable driving a van of box truck
  • Creation, stocking & fulfillment of product displays
  • Build & breakdown of off-site mobile store & product displays
  • Adherence to Frecon Farms dress code and ethical standards
  • Attends Frecon Farms employee operations meetings as scheduled
  • Fulfillment of minimum hourly requirements as agreed when hired
  • Fulfillment of additional hours as requested, scheduled or warranted by season

Farmers Market Sales Associates are an important extension of the Frecon Farms Brand and fill key roles in the SALES of our core products and MARKETING of our on the farm events, farm market, cidery and bakery.

Available positions have mandatory hours on Saturdays.

BARISTA/DRINK SERVICE & SALES

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
  • Prepare and serve SAMPLES of local non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages
  • Properly handle and maintain all beverage equipment including but not limited to espresso machine, tap system, grinders, ice machine, refrigeration equipment, etc.
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently
  • Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
  • Educate guests on virtues of Frecon Farms ciders
  • Educate guests on virtues of featured local beverages, espresso, coffee, kombucha
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card payments
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
  • Observe all relevant health and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to problem solve quickly & work in fast paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow written & verbal directions
  • Capable of working in conditions that consistently require lifting 50 pounds.

PREP COOK/BAKER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and sanitation standards.**
  • Responsible for prep of soups, salads, quiche, and pot pies.
  • Prep various recipes for production bakers.
  • Responsible for baking off various items for both our retail store and weekend Farmer’s Markets.
